Editorial policy
Read standards and sourcing notesExamples are educational and are not personalized financial advice.
No financial advice
Stock Analysis Desk does not recommend that any user buy, sell, hold, or trade any security, option, cryptocurrency, or other instrument. Scores, alerts, rankings, simulations, and model outputs are research observations.
A research observation can still be useful. It can point to a stale quote, a narrow watchlist, a possible catalyst, a failed paper pattern, or a contradiction in the thesis. It should not be treated as a suitability review or a prediction that removes risk.
Paper-only posture
The public beta is intended for paper workflows. Users should verify live prices, bid/ask spreads, liquidity, expiration dates, corporate events, maximum loss, and order details with authoritative sources before taking any independent action outside Stock Analysis Desk.
Paper review helps identify process problems before money is involved. It can reveal that a thesis was too vague, a contract was too illiquid, a quote was stale, or a catalyst had already passed. Those lessons are educational and should not be confused with live performance.
Access and privacy
The private app is protected by login. Users should not enter brokerage passwords, government identifiers, payment-card data, or unnecessary sensitive information. The current beta is limited to U.S. residents using the service from the United States.
Data limitations
Market data, news, filings, sentiment, and third-party information may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, unavailable, or already reflected in prices. Backtests and correlations can break when market conditions change.
No execution
The beta does not place trades or route orders.
Paper framing
Research examples are framed as observation and review, not instructions.
Data warnings
Stale, cached, delayed, simulated, and unavailable states should remain visible.
User responsibility
Users must verify original sources and decide whether information is relevant to them.
Sensitive data limits
Users should not enter unnecessary brokerage, payment, government, or private account data.
Legal context
Privacy, terms, disclaimer, and contact pages remain public and crawlable.
What readers should verify independently
Before relying on any market research, check the current market session, the quote timestamp, the bid and ask, displayed size, volume, open interest, earnings dates, corporate actions, and the original source behind a claim. If those inputs are missing or stale, the safest research conclusion may be that the idea is not ready for review.
For options, verify the specific strike and expiration separately from the underlying stock thesis. A correct directional view can still produce a poor option outcome if time decay, implied volatility, spread friction, or liquidity overwhelms the move.
